Lacrosse - Spring Summer 2010
Northville Parks
and Recreation Lacrosse is a well respected program around the state.
Our travel teams offer great competition and coaching. We stress good
sportsmanship and technique. Whether you are new to the sport or an
experienced player we have a program for you! Come join the fun and
learn the game of Lacrosse. All lacrosse practices and home games will
be held at Northville Community Park.

Youth Spring Lacrosse Clinic for Boys and Girls 3rd - 8th Grade
The six (6) day clinic will focus on instruction and learning the
exciting game of lacrosse. This is a great way to try out lacrosse!
Beginners are encouraged to attend. Learn how to pass, scoop, catch and
cradle. The clinic is held at Northville Community Park. Bring a
lacrosse stick and mouth guard.

Boys 3rd and 4th Grade Lacrosse Team
Learn the exciting game of lacrosse! Emphasis is on learning the
basic skills and game technique. No experience necessary, all skill
levels are encouraged to participate. The team will practice twice a
week and play 4-6 games. Games are played aroundsoutheast Michigan on
weekdays and weekends. Coach John Alexanderwill be leading this program.
Equipment Required: Shoulder/elbow pads, rib pad,
athletic cup,lacrosse stick, lacrosse gloves, mouth guard, cleats and
helmet.Approved lacrosse helmets or hockey helmets are required.A
lacrosse jersey will be provided.

Boys and Girls End of Summer Lacrosse Camps 3rd - 8th Grade
Learn the game of lacrosse in a relaxed summer camp. All skill levels
are invited to attend. Players will be divided by age and skill level.
Coaches will have drills, conditioning and games daily. Northville Youth
Lacrosse Coach John Alexander will lead the camp. Camps will take place
at Northville Community Park. Equipment required:
Experienced boy players: Lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves,
shoulder/elbow pads, athletic cup, mouth guard and athletic shoes.
Boy Beginners: Lacrosse stick and mouth guard, helmet if you have one.
Girls: lacrosse stick, mouth guard, and protective eye ware if you have
it.
