The Northville Community Senior Center building is located at 303
West Main Street in downtown Northville. Built in 1954 by the City of
Northville as a community center, the facility was sold to the
Northville School District in 1960 for use as a district facility. From
1979 to 2001, the Parks and Recreation offices were housed in the
Community Center. The Northville Senior Services program offices are now
located in the building.
In 2003/2004, the Parks and Recreation Commission entered into a 25
year lease agreement with the Northville School District for continued
use of the building.
When not in use by Senior Services or Parks and Recreation Department
programs, the Community Senior Center facilities are available for
rental. The facilities include a banquet room, service pantry, living
room, large gymnasium with bleachers, multi-purpose meeting rooms. There
is free wireless internet available throughout the building. There is
direct adjacent parking to the building.
