Health and Fitness

Blood Pressure Check (Monthly)

No appointment is necessary. Limited to the first 30 people – first come, first served.

Day: 3rd Wednesday, 8:30am – 10:00am
By Glacier Hills Home Care

4th Monday, 12:00pm – 2:00pm
By St. Mary’s Hospital nursing staff

Fee: Free

Walking (in the gym)

Keep exercising even during inclement weather. Eighteen times around the gym equals one mile! Periodically we have sponsors from rehabs offices to enhance our walking program—check our newsletter for upcoming sponsors.
Monday,  8:00am - 9:30am and 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00am - 10:00am and 11:30am - 1:00pm

Strength Training

Day: Every Monday
Time: 9:30am
Location: NCSC
Fee: $40 for eight weeks

Yoga

Day: Every Tuesday
Time: 10:30am
Location: NCSC
Fee: $8 per class

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)

Day: Every Thursday
Time: 8:00am – 9:00am for Weigh-in, 9:00am – 10:00am for Meeting
Location: Northville Senior Community Center

Oxycise: Breathing and stretching

Day: Every Monday & Wednesday
Time: 10:00am
Location: NCSC
Fee: $1 per class

Line Dance

Day: Every Monday
Time: 10:00am (beginners arrive at 9:30am)
Location: NCSC
Fee: $15 for four weeks or $4 per class

Tai Chi

Day: Every Monday
Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: NCSC
Fee: $59 for six weeks

Massage

One hour massages are available every Thursday, by appointment only. The fee is $50.

Foot Reflexology

Foot Reflexology is available the second Wednesday and the last Wednesday of the month.
