Allocate Your 401K - Pat Shope
Tuesday, June 12 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm; FREE
This seminar will explore how to make the most of your 401K in retirement. Learn the advantages and disadvantages of different types of retirement plans.

When You Can No Longer Take Care of Yourself - Gary Allen
Tuesday, June 19 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm; FREE
This seminar will cover three important aspects of your long term care planning. Housing options, critical care issues, and paying for the care through insurance, veterans benefits and Medicaid.
Registration deadline is June 15.

Make Your Advanced Care Plans Known - St. Joseph's Mercy - Michelle Moccia, N.P.
Tuesday, June 26 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm; FREE
We believe that the place for this to begin is at the kitchen table - not the intensive care unit - with the people we love, before it's too late. Michelle will walk you through making sure your own wishes and those of our loved ones are expressed and respected.

Let It Go: A Meditation Series - Carrie Zarotney - Bulletproof Mindfulness Technique
Thursday, June 7 , 14, 21, 28 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm; Fee: $65
Whether you're brand new to meditation or have an established practice, don't miss this precious opportunity to get centered. You will learn how to access the peaceful place already inside of you, breath techniques to relive worry and stress, and explore guided visualizations to deepen your connection to yourself and to one another.

Matter of Balance - St. John's Providence - Belinda Kabodian, BS RN
Wednesday, July 11 - August 29 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm; FREE
A matter of balance is designed to reduce the fear of falling. The program uses exercises to improve strength, coordination and balance along with problem solving and group discussion. Please register through St. John's Providence CareLink; or call 1-800-501-3627

 Social Clubs Summer 2018

Northville Senior Lunch Crew
June 20: Deadwood Bar & Grill
July 17: Big Tommy's Parthenon in Novi

Get together with your friends or make new ones by signing up to go out to lunch with other Northville Seniors. A local Restaurant will be chosen and reserved for the group. This social group meets once a month at 11:30am. Please register at the senior desk. You will receive a confirmation phone call before the event but you mush register in order to be included in the group reservation.

Meet Meet at the designated restaurant on the day and time of the lunch. Transpiration and payment for your meal is on your own.

If you have some free time or just love to work on puzzles, we always have a community puzzle going at our puzzle station in the Living Room of the Northville Community Center. Finish the puzzle and you get to pick the next one to work on!

Adult Coloring
Coloring has been proven to help reduce stress and anxiety levels, plus it's just plain fun! Pick out your favorite coloring page from out collection, pull up a chair and start coloring. Bring a friend or enjoy quiet time by yourself. Coloring pages and pencils provided. Coloring supplies can be found on the desk next to the Color Station in the Community Center

Line Dancing
Come and line dance to a variety of music from country, oldies, 2 step, waltzes and top 40's with our new instructor, Judean Owen. Every Monday from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm in the Community Center Gym, $4 drop in fee

Come join us for a morning walk in the gym. Every weekday morning the gym is open for Senior Walker from 8:00 - 9:30 am. Join the group afterwards for a cup of coffee! FREE
